EAGLE ROCK ACADEMY
Continuing Enrollment for the 2011-2012 school year
ERA has taken on a new phase. We are enrolling students of any age into our college prep classes. This will allow a student who did not finish High School to come and receive a diploma. Half day programs an home schooling is also an option. Requirements are a little different for those in college prep so call for full details.
ERA is a private Christian School. We utilize the A.C.E. (Accelerated Christian Education) curriculum. That enables any student of any age to receive exactly what they need in any subject. They can review certain subjects or they can move ahead at their pace. This also enables a student to enroll at any time throughout the year.
ERA admits any student of any race, color, national or ethnic origin, religious background or financial status.
A.C.E. students have some of the highest test scores in the nation while reflecting honesty, integrity and strong character. In the day in which we live, God has given us a mandate to train up our children. With so many things screaming for their attention, ERA provides a place for them to come away from all the pressure of this world and concentrate on Him, their education and their destiny.
Eagle Rock Academy and Preschool's hours are 8:30-3:00 but we can be a little more flexible for the preschool. Just call us with your needs and we will try to accommodate them.
In the academy, students will be on computers and study paces in the mornings and have group instruction in science, music, art and character building exercises in the afternoons. Two days a week students will have PE. Academy students will be running their own online radio station and maintain their own web site. Private music lessons will also be offered once a week.
Every student, including the preschool will be required to take the SAT test in the spring. Preschoolers will be tested three times a year on motor skills, number recognition and letter recognition.
Preschoolers will have a chance to play in our playland complete with slide and ball pit. They will study numbers, letters, do art projects, color and have a lot of time to interact with other students in playtime. Older students will receive preparation in our learning to read program.
